Requirements

                            

All international applicants must submit to the Office of International Affairs complete official records (such as transcripts, mark sheets, and certificates) of all academic work. These records should include all courses taken in high school and every college or university the applicant has attended. A statement of degree is required for each degree an applicant has completed. Transcripts submitted after enrollment of classes will not be accepted.

              

 In addition to the original records, each document submitted in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. Unofficial photocopies or other duplications will not be accepted.

International Student Orientation Registration

Application Deadlines:

What to Submit:
 1.Completed International Student Application
    - Online Application (Recommended)
    - Paper Application (PDF Format)
 2.Non-refundable application fee of $78

         

 3.Language Proficiency requirements: TOEFL-61, IELTS-5.0 or ESL completion) if required
 4.Affidavit of Support indicating $31,095 for first year of school
 5.High School Applicant - High School Transcript with a graduating GPA of 2.0 average on a 4.0 scale
 6.SAT or ACT test results requirements: 17 (ACT Composite), 820 (SAT - English & Math if taken before March 2016 or 900 total score if taken after March 2016)
 7.Transfer Applicants - College Transcript(s) - all foreign college transcripts must be evaluated. Evaluation for all foreign college credits must be submitted from one of our Approved Evaluation Services.  8.Completed Affidavit of financial support
 9.Submit SEVIS Transfer Release Form to TSU from previous college (For students transferring within the US.)
   
*Students may be exempt from the SAT/ACT Requirement if they:
 Are Transferring with at least 15 transferable hours with a GPA 2.0
   
*Students are exempt from the TOEFL Requirement if they:
 Have graduated from a U.S. accredited high school or English is the native language.
 Are transferring or hold a degree from an U.S. accredited university or college.
 Speak English as their native language. This exemption refers to students from Australia, the Bahamas, Belize, the British Isles, England, New Zealand, English-speaking Canadian provinces, the Fiji Islands, Jamaica, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Ghana, Gambia, Liberia, the Virgin Islands, the West Indies, Trinidad, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Holland, France, Germany, Sweden, and Norway.
